Slice 1: Michelle

I am a boy mom of 3 with a growing family living in the Midwest! I have one left at home, one away at college and one engaged. Gone are the days of classroom coordinator and carpool mom. These days, I am all about those college visits and wedding planning. I am a football mom, and wrestling mom which makes me a much different breed. I have been married for 26 years to my high school sweetheart. Jen has been my island in a storm of testosterone, giving me a break in the chaos that comes from life running a family of 5. While she may not have always understood it, she has always rallied that “go team” banner and given me that safe harbor to be who am I.

Slice 2: Jennifer

Hi, second slice of the pie here! I’ve been married for 27 years to the best girl-dad in the world. We live in the estrogen ocean with two daughters ages 30 and 26. My girls are both mothers now as well. I have a granddaughter age 7, and a grandson who is just over 1 year old. From a child that got very ill and later flatlined giving birth (they zapped her back, so she’s alive), brain surgery, and now taking care of my elderly parents, Michelle has been there for me. I’m trying to figure out this transition in motherhood and I’m not doing it perfectly. With Michelle’s support, I am doing it “perfectly Jennifer.”
